Our Team

Kelly is the Principal and Founder of BuildWise, a Brunswick, GA-based investor and developer of sustainable affordable housing and mixed use projects to revitalize local neighborhoods. Driving business strategy and scaling operations, Kelly identifies potential acquisitions, manages transactions and leads a team that provides strategic development and construction, with a special emphasis on social impact investments.
Kelly grew up in the Midwest and is a proud University of Iowa and Iowa College of Law alum. Before moving to the Golden Isles with her husband, Brad Randall, in 2014, Kelly was a partner at the New York-based law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP for 25 years, where she served on several of the firm’s leadership and operational committees. She is currently Vice Chair of the Board of the Brunswick Urban Redevelopment Agency and a Board member and Co-Chair of the Development Committee of the Iowa Law School Foundation. Kelly has always had a passion for architecture, design and construction. Kelly is an avid golfer and cook/foodie, and enjoys downtime on the front porch with her three dogs.

Acquisitions & Property Management

Brad is a Georgia-licensed real estate broker, associated with Signature Properties Group Inc. Brad started his real estate career over 20 years ago in New York City, focusing on the luxury condo, co-op and townhouse market. Brad previously provided medical practice and other business management services, where he guided physicians and other business operators on how to improve the economics of their practices.
Brad assists BuildWise with potential acquisitions, due diligence and market analyses. Brad also operates BuildWise Properties LLC, overseeing the day to day management of BuildWise’s existing property holdings. Brad serves the community through board work at United Way, the Golden Isles Association of Realtors, and the Golden Isles MLS. Brad grew up in the Midwest, is a longtime golfer and skier, and has been a puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Mary is a Georgia-licensed CPA, with a broad range of financial skills and experience. Mary provides BuildWise, as well as its potential clients and tenants, with assessments of project viability, review of financing needs and opportunities, and management of project budgets and timelines.
Mary grew up in New York’s Hudson Valley, and was a New York-based partner with Grant Thornton LLP for over 35 years where she provided audit services to public and private companies. Mary has guided clients and their boards through every stage of growth. Mary also served in a variety of leadership positions in GT’s national office, designing and overseeing several quality control initiatives for the firm. Mary is active in various philanthropic organizations and particularly likes mentoring young professionals. Mary enjoys baking, golf, and enjoying the outdoors with her dogs.
